This looks pretty nice C: There are a few things I feel like I could point out for you, though.

The first one is the composition. This isn't too bad, but it could also be improved upon. Remember that the basics of a good composition lies in contrast. Where you find contrast (in color, light and darkness, in shapes, in materials and textures) is going to be places where the viewers eyes are drawn. There is also the framing effect to think about. With that in mind, I feel it would have been better to move the cliff slightly to the right of the characters head. This would have framed it nicely, and given more color contrast with the yellow clouds. You do need something to give more attention to the face to really bring this piece o the next step - as it is right now, the biggest contrasting area is actually the tail tip, due to the contrast of light and dark and the sharp edges you've drawn it with (unlike the head, which is a bit sketchy still).

That tail tip/face thing could be solved by adding a bit more shadows, though. Keep in mind that during dawn or dusk, the shadow colors will be very cool. You have a lot of cool colors in the purple of the clouds, and I would suggest using a similar shade if you want to shade the piece a bit more.

Over all, nice piece. I can see where you wanted to go with it and I like the vision. Keep practicing C:
